Gregynog Synthesis Meeting

I spent last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Gregynog Synthesis Meeting in North Wales. Aside from the many excellent talks from young researchers, two exceptional plenary lectures were delivered by Prof David Procter and Prof Ben Feringa.  It was a wonderful meeting and great to catch up with so many people I hadn't seen in ages. I look forward to the meeting next year!

Good luck to Jay who leaves us for the University of Maryland where he plans to spend a year. Jay spent six weeks synthesising a panel of novel amine donors for application in transaminase-mediated biotransformations. We hope to publish this soon!
